What our AI features do, what they use, and where their limits are.

1. Where AI is used
Artificial intelligence supports several features: the Pilot advisor, diagnostic explanations, photo review, quote and estimate analysis, and drafting of educational content. Every one of these is decision support, not a professional service.
2. Not professional advice
AI output is not an inspection, an engineering opinion, a legal opinion, an insurance determination, or a binding price. Always confirm important decisions with a licensed professional before hiring, signing or paying.
3. What the AI sees
Our AI features are grounded in the information you provide (answers, photos, documents, home profile) plus our own data on contractors, pricing benchmarks and category guidance. It does not have access to another member's private data.
4. Accuracy and limits
AI can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Photo analysis cannot see behind surfaces or detect hidden damage. Cost figures are regional estimates and will differ from a real bid.
5. Human oversight
Contractor verification records and published guidance are reviewed by our staff. AI-drafted content is checked before publication.
6. Your data and AI
Content you submit is processed to produce your result and to operate the feature. It is not sold, and it is not used to promote any contractor. You may delete uploaded photos and documents at any time.
7. Report a problem
If an AI answer looks wrong, use the report option in the app or email contact@homeprojectpilot.com so we can correct it.
